SHEPPARD CAFE - KITCHEN HELPER

Do you have cooking experience in the restaurant or catering industry or are you seeking to take your culinary skills to the next level?

We are seeking an experienced cook to grow with us.  We offer gourmet burgers and represent several online restaurant brands.  You will be trained to cook according to specific recipes and menu selections.  Assist with assembling meals to order and maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen.

You must be friendly, reliable, punctual and available to work on the weekends and Monday.  

Duties and Responsibilities of a Cook

• Preparing workstations and cooking ingredients for shift.
• Cooking & assembling food items according to customer's order.
• maintaining a sanitized and well organized kitchen.
• Checking the quality and quantity of ingredients.
• Cooking food using various culinary techniques.
• Must have prior experience cooking on a flattop grill and fryolator.
• Must have good knife skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
• Must have great organizational skills.
